I began playing harp when I was 6 years old. My inspiration for the instrument flourished after I attended an amazing harp concert featuring a mix of classical, jazz, and modern music. Shortly after that I was placed under the instruction of renowned Harpist Lynnelle Ediger-Kordzaia where I rigorously trained to develop my skills. Eventually, Mrs. Ediger invited me to join a group of carefully selected harpists known as the American Youth Harp Ensemble. I had the privilege of masterclasses with many famous harpists such as: Park Stickney, Deborah Henson-Conant, Monika Stadler, and Claire Jones. After years of studying and practice, I was accepted to the highest level of the American Youth Harp Ensemble called the Touring Ensemble. While Performing with this group I had the privilege of traveling the world to perform in some of the most prestigious venues. My most notable performances include The White House for President Obama, State Department, Belgian Embassy for the Prince and Princess of Belgium, National Cathedral, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. I have also played several tours through other countries including Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Belgium, England, Norway, and Austria. Upon graduation, I accepted a prestigious program at Rice University studying under Mrs. Paula Page. During my time at Rice, I mastered my vast knowledge of classical and modern music to earn a degree in Musical Performance. Today I strive to learn new music as much as possible, and hope to inspire a new generation to discover their passion for music!
